WilliamxYumi

WilliamxYumi is probably the most infamous romance of the second season. It suggests the pairing of William and Yumi, hence the name. It seems obvious that William has a crush on Yumi, but it never gets real far, as Yumi loves Ulrich. This causes much tension between William and Ulrich, in fashion similar to the tension between Theo and Ulrich in Season 1. Nevertheless, it seems that Yumi has a strong distaste for William as shown in The Secret, as she is the only one who votes against having William join the gang. She distrusted him, and when he was possessed in Final Round as she is devirtualizing she says "I knew it was a bad idea to bring you into the group." It was also shown in Fight to the Finish and Echoes that Yumi no longer had any romantic relations with William as she said "Face it William, we were never meant to be." In the next episode, she says "See ya around, pretty boy.", and walks away.
